SEVERED ANGEL, the Northeastern US melodic metal band has released their new music video for the song “Attachment Unavailable” from their self titled debut album “Severed Angel“.
The album is out now on CD and digitally via European label Sliptrick Records.
Severed Angel comments:
Attachment Unavailable is a commentary on how modern technology, while absolutely wonderful, can be a double-edged sword that sometimes leads to social isolation, lack of human connection, and being effectively unavailable to deeper relationships.
The story of how the song came to fruition is a funny one. In our band group chat, Wayne shared a link that was set to private, and it came up as “Attachment Unavailable” to the rest of us. This was the initial spark that led to Marc saying that this can an interesting play on words, also meaning that we have become emotionally unavailable in this modern technologically-advanced world. From there, we tried to explore the darker side of this, and thus, Attachment Unavailable was born.
The video features the band performing the song, intertwined with footage showing some of the negative effects this new way of life can and often does affect people.
Attachment Unavailable is the second original single and music video from Severed Angel’s self-titled debut album, being released worldwide via Sliptrick Records on May 2nd.
