Nita Strauss Drops New Single With Alice Cooper Guitarist Nita Strauss has a new single featuring a guest vocal from her boss, Alice Cooper.
Cooper sings lead on “Winner Takes All”, which was released to digital platforms. Strauss says the track will appear on her upcoming album, and called it “an honor” to work with “my longtime boss and friend, the legendary Alice Cooper”.
Strauss recently returned to Cooper’s live band after leaving to tour with Demi Lovato. During this time Kane Roberts filled in. Roberts was with Cooper during the 80’s and was featured on “Constrictor” and “Raise Your Fist And Yell”.
The song itself is decent, mostly saved by Alice and his signature sneering vocal style. The songs doesn’t showcase Strauss as much, but according to reports there will be instrumentals on the album as well.
As a huge fan of the “Kane Roberts” era, as short as it was, it’s bittersweet seeing Strauss return, I was hoping there would be room for everyone, perhaps down the road again we’ll see the big man back with Alice Cooper.
