Hitting your senses from Lubrza, Poland, MISSCORE have early roots that take the band back over a decade, though it was truly in 2023 when the band’s line-up finally solidified. MISSCORE are now comprised of Natalia Rygiel (vocals), Mateusz Dźwigała (bass, keyboards), Krystian Suchorab (guitars), and Jarek Bielecki (drums), and the Euro riff merchants are poised to strike out armed with a sound that pools from Bring Me The Horizon, Slipknot, Linkin Park, and Paramore.
MISSCORE’s stock has swiftly risen with the release of last year’s debut EP, as well as their debut album, Drown, which arrived early this year. Together with a concentrated run of successful shows and festival appearances throughout 2024, all have aided in producing a swelling of support. With followers increasing in mainland Europe, the band are turning their attention to the UK with the release of their absorbing new album, Hypocrisy. The Polish four-piece have laid down a body of work that instantly goes for the jugular, bursting with vibrant energy and engaging riffery. The record offers up stout cuts that ooze hooky beats, inventive riffs, and powerful vocals. With a collection of live dates in the works for the rest of the year and in 2025, you need to watch this space.
